So what actually is ‘Body Composition’?
Body composition is a way of breaking down the body into core components: fat, protein, minerals and body water. It describes your weight more accurately and provides and better glimpse into your overall health. Body composition analysis can accurately show changes in fat mass, muscle mass and body fat percentage. Usually people tend to focus on the amount of weight they want to gain or lose but we don’t consider that two people of the same sex and body weight may have a completely different body composition. Measuring your body composition will tell you your own body’s unique make up and help you identify areas to improve your overall health and wellness!
